Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis is among the finest levels of filtration available. Our Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis plants can be used for surface water and bore water treatment applications with a total dissolved solids/salts level below 10,000 mg/L.
Membranes with a pore size of 0.1 – 10 μm perform micro filtration. Microfiltration can be implemented
in many different water treatment processes when particles with a diameter greater than 0.1mm, including bacteria, need to be removed from a liquid.
For complete removal of viruses, ultrafiltration is required. The pores of ultrafiltration membranes can remove particles of 0.001 – 0.1 μm from fluids.
Sand filtration is a frequently used, and very robust method, for removing suspended solids from water. The filtration medium consists of a multiple layer of sand with a variety in size and specific gravity.
Iron Removal Systems
Iron removal plants can be based on different filtration media, depending on the iron and manganese concentration, the oxygen level, CO2 content and water hardness.
Chemical Dosing Systems
We provide a range of Chemical Dosing Systems for water stabilisation of reverse osmosis permeate including pH correction, addition of calcium, disinfection and fluoridation. We also provide batching chemicals for clean in place processes and batching fertilisers for irrigation.
